Wow what a busy but fantastic final week we have had before our Easter holidays. I am so proud of...
Year 4 news!
We have been working hard in Year 4 this week.
The week started with a fantastic Harvest festival. Year 4 all participated beautifully along with everyone else in our Wybunbury Delves family.
In English this week we have been on a sensory walk through Diagon Alley. We explored what we could see, hear, smell and how we would feel. We have ended the week by writing our own diary entry about our trip to Diagon Alley.
In Maths this week we have completed our unit of place value and have been exploring negative numbers in relation to the temperature. Today we completed our end of unit test!
This weeks Science lesson was based on developing our knowledge of producers and consumers and creating our own food chains. The children used pictures to see how many food chains they could create. Everyone in Year 4 gave great reasoning for their choices of food chains.
Throughout Geography this week we have begun another of our study work pages. This involved using the iPads to find out more information about where different parts of the Harry Potter films were located and finding these on their maps.
It has been another lovely week in year 4 and I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend!
