Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a lovely holiday and I hear that Santa came to everybody's houses and delivered lots of presents too! Talking of presents, I would like to say a very big thank you for all the lovely Christmas cards and Christmas presents you gave me

I am very excited to announce that we will be reading Harry Potter this term! One of my favorites. If you would like to find out more, please have a look at our class page where you will find a copy of this term's holistic plan.

On Monday, we started the week learning about Georges Seurat, an impressionist painter who was the founder of Pointillism. We learnt that he used lots of little dots to create fantastic pictures. A technique that we replicated for this term's BIG ART! It took a lot of patience but the finished affects are amazing!

In Maths we have learnt about equivalent fractions and in literacy we have been learning about non-chronological reports.
