Year 4 have had a wonderful day out on their trip to the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery.

During our visit, the children got to see both replica and real Anglo-Saxon artifacts from the Staffordshire Hoard which was extremely captivating. They also had the opportunity to make an Anglo-Saxon helmet and in the afternoon they created clay statues; Viking god and goddess statues were created in the style of the Lewis Chess Pieces Hopefully, by Monday, the clay will be fully dry and the children be able to take them home. I would like to say a big thank to the children and the Potteries Museum for making the trip so enjoyable.

In our Brass Instrument lesson this week, we performed to parents and family friends. The children performed beautifully and it was very impressive to hear them play and see how far they have come. Well done Year 4, you should be very proud!
