It's amazing how much you can fit into a four day week! We have been very busy indeed.
This week in English, we have finished our instructional writing on our Tudor houses, all that is left to do with them is write them up for our study work book.

In maths, we have continued to focus on multiplication and division in preparation for our end of unit challenge. It's been a little tricky to get our heads around worded problems but we got there in the end.

In book club, we have taken apart a reading challenge and worked on strategies to tackle reading comprehension tests. Remember, the answers are hidden in the text, we just have to go seeking!
In the afternoons, we have been working on our study work book front covers. This term, we decided to go for a Tudor style house panel as our design. Don't they just look fab! During our RE lesson this week we learnt about Shabbat. We learnt about what makes it special and what was hard and what was easy about the event. The children also completed their studywork pages on Tudor religion, they have learnt such a lot about how religion impacted on the lives of the people in so many ways.

We have also continued with a music lessons, where we are learning 'Lean on me' by Bill Withers. This week's lesson focused on playing an instrument along with the song and even trickier, trying to sing whilst playing.

I hope you have a fantastic weekend and I look forward to another great week ahead.
