Wow! Time flies when you're having fun. This half term has really whizzed by.

In maths, we have been focusing on our addition and subtraction methods, in preparation for our challenge next week. We have refreshed our brains and are up for the challenge. We've got this!

In English, we have looked at descriptive writing. We've looked at all sorts of things, ranging from fantastic adjectives to similes. We've had lots of fun with our Guess Who game in class and have produced some brilliant character descriptions.

In the afternoons, we have been very busy. We have ventured down to the church for our harvest service. I must say, our singing was absolutely beautiful, well done! A huge pat on the back to those who had speaking parts in the service. We are proud of you, say we are proud of you!

That's not all we have done, on Thursday we became historians. We posed the question of- who were the ancient Chinese people? We found out lots of interesting facts like, did you know that the ancient Chinese used cowry shells as currency!?
