Well done for another week of home learning. I am proud of each and every one of you (and your mums...

Year 4 News
Over the last week we have been busy learning about Area and Perimeter. We now know the difference between the two and are able to count squares and use formulas to work it out.
In English, we have been writing Factual Descriptions about the Tudor monarchs and we focused our learning on how to link our sentences to make our work flow.
During the afternoons, we have done a number of exciting activities. Some of us started this term's D.T (construction) whilst others learnt about the importance of teeth and the role our mouth plays in the digestive system. On Friday, we celebrated St George's Day and we came up with lots of great things which make us proud to be English and British. These reasons ranged from fish and chips and enjoying the country side to the fact that we are free and are allowed to choose who rules us. This lead into a great discussion about British Values.
