We have worked our socks off this week in Year 4.

In English, we've been very busy completing our letters, just a few more touches and we'll be ready to write them up for our study work books next week.

Subtraction, subtraction subtraction! We have been applying our number facts to solve subtraction problems this week. Worded problems can be tricky but we have sussed them using our RUCSAC principle.

In art this week, we have been continuing with our willow patterns, we are nearly finished with our designs, soon we will be applying them to our plates.

In geography this week, we began our study work page, drawing a map of the earth carefully and then learning how to use watercolour pencils to create colour- this was quite tricky as the maps were small and being accurate was challenging.

We've been getting our grove on to Abba in music this week. Mamma Mia is our song for the this half term and we love it!
