We have had a great first week back in Year 4!

In Literacy, we have been performing poetry and writing Limericks. Whilst in Maths, we have been learning about translations.

Our afternoons were jam packed full of interesting activities. On Monday afternoon, we found out who the Tudors were and looked at famous paintings of them; this task was part of our Big Art project! In Big Art, we are recreating some of these famous Tudor Monarch portrait. Its difficult work but we have embraced the task and it's kept us busy on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon.

On Friday afternoon there were lots of different activities happening: some of us continued our Holbein pictures; some people learnt about William Shakespeare; some of us looked at artefacts and found out what they were; other people looked at the first stage of the digestive system as part of our science project and lastly, some of us have been doing coding.

It has certainly been a week crammed full with learning!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and see you on Monday!
