Year 4 News!
What another great week in Year 4.
This week we have been exploring the outdoors and finding as many different triangles as possible. We have all learnt the properties of scalene, isosceles, right-angled and equilateral triangles. We have taken pictures of the triangles we have found outside, measured them with a ruler and decided which triangle they all are. We then used the iPads to create our own pic collages.
In English this week, we have thought about what life would be like to be a page boy and written a diary entry based on one day of our life. The children in Year 4 are fantastic at pretending to be someone else and loved acting out life as a page boy using our 'hot seat' activity.
In Art this week, we have started to sketch our own Tudor roses and have learnt how to use cross hatching to shade our drawing.
We have also been thinking about how forgiveness is reflected in the Bible and throughout the lives of Christians today, during our RE.
