Year 4 News
The first week back has been a busy one!
In Literacy, we have been learning about speech punctuation and in Maths we have been learning about the written subtraction method. Everyone has been working hard and challenging themselves this week and you should all be proud of how resilient you have been.
In our afternoons, we have been busy with Study Work. On Friday we had a special day looking at the WW1 soldiers who were former pupils of our school. The conversations and questions that our learning raised were very moving. You all showed compassion as you tried to make sense of the reasons why innocent men, on both sides, were asked to sacrifice their lives. You asked many heartfelt questions which showed S.P.A.R.K was apart of our whole day. To help us remember, we all produced a beautiful piece of commemorative art work too!
