Year 3 Weekly News
Hi Everybody,
Our work this week has helped up get into the Christmas spirit. This is because we have been retelling the Nativity story during English. We used interesting openers, paragraphs and speech to help our writing sound exciting. Our stories will accompany our Nativity stop-motion animation films, which are the focus of our computing lessons this half term.
During our maths lessons, we have been learning how to use blank number lines to complete addition and subtraction calculations. We have also been looking at how to find missing numbers too!
As well as Computing, we have been doing D.T during our afternoon sessions. This involved learning how to carefully saw pieces of wood using a hack-saw and a vice. it was hard work but lots of fun. Study work has also been a focus and as part of it, we have been learning about the Viking gods and goddesses.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend,
Miss Pennance
