We have been busy this week. In Maths,we revised the different strategies that we know for mental and written addition and subtraction. I was very impressed by how much you all remembered. Well done! In our English lessons, we have been learning about paragraphing and you used this skill to help you write some fantastic diary entries. They were excellent and I have never seen you all write so much! Wow!

During our afternoon lessons, we have been studying a range of topics. On Monday, we learnt about why the 10 Commandments are important to Jewish people and then we moved onto our music lesson which was all about how notes can make a long sound or a short sound. On Tuesday, you had P.E with Sportscape and you played dodgeball and netball. On Wednesday, we had a brilliant afternoon. We began creating out Mondrian inspired pieces of art work which we finished off today. Yesterday we learnt about the different properties of various rock types and today, after our art lesson, we did coding.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss P
