Fair Trade

Year 3 News

We have become Fair Trade advocates this week and have worked hard to write a letter to persuade our Mum's and Dad's to buy Fair Trade. We considered our arguments carefully and we were able to come up with great reasons as to why we should buy Fair Trade. Some of our arguments were linked with the ideas that can be found in the bible. The main one being 'Love Thy Neighbour'. We felt very strongly about this because we felt that everybody has the right to clean water, food and help if they are unwell. Buying Fair Trade helps this happen.

In maths, we have been learning about the 24-hour clock. It was a little tricky at first but we persevered and began to master it.

In our afternoons, we have been busy with Study Work. We have been working hard on our handwriting and completing beautifully presented pages.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend,

Miss P
