A huge thank you all once again for your support in these challenging times! Seesaw has been...
Year 2's visit to the Wildlife Park
What a fantastic day we have had today! We spent the day exploring the woods at Westport Lake, Staffordshire Wildlife Park. When we got there the children impressed Alison (the ranger) with their knowledge all about trees and we went out into the forest on a leaf and tree hunt, using our detective skills. We played some nature games which were lots of fun! After lunch, we turned our attention to art in nature! We had a think about our artist Andy Goldsworthy and recreated our own pieces. We then looked for colours in nature and made our own paint palette using things we had found in nature. Children, how many did you find on your palette?
Children, thank you for being so well behaved. Alison commented on how well you listened, how much you knew about trees and nature and how polite you all were. As always, you made me very proud to take you out on a school visit.
See you all tomorrow. Early nights all round (including me!!)
