Wow what a busy but fantastic final week we have had before our Easter holidays. I am so proud of...
Year 2 Scientists!
We have had a great start to our week in Year 2. Some children took part in an athletics competition in the morning. They were very well behaved and had lots of fun. They represented Wybunbury Delves so well and I am very proud of you all! Please see Mr Dale's website update for more information! In the afternoon, we then had a visit from Mrs Tibbetts who taught us all about barn owls. First, we she explained where barn owls live, what they eat and what owl pellets are. We then used tools to explore the owl pellets to see what the owls had been eating! We found bones, teeth, tails, feathers and even a full beak! The children were fantastic scientists working with one tray, tools and an owl pellet. The children then gathered the bones that they found and used double sided tape to make a small display of what they found. They used keys and pictures to identify the bones that they found. Well done Year 2 scientists!
