Year 2 News
Where has this half term gone? This week we have asked the question 'why do we remember Boudicca?' We have used question marks, exclamation marks and thought about tense in our writing. We have thought about the reader and ordered our writing. We then shared our writing by reading it out loud in front of the class. Well done Year 2.
In maths, we have been using our estimating skills to work out what the answer to our calculations might be before having a try at them. We found this difficult at first by the end, our estimations were getting closer and closer!
On Wednesday afternoon, we enjoyed watching key stage 2 sports day. We showed great support and we also had 13 of Year 2 as helpers. It was commented by lots of the key stage 2 teachers and Mrs Casserley on how helpful and organised they were. Well done again year 2! We are looking forward to ours after half term!
Have a lovely half term and I look forward to seeing you all back in on Monday 4th June.
