Year 2 News
Another busy week has flown by in Year 2. This week we have continued our work based around owls and we have ordered our research, making owl fact files and these have now formed one of our study work pages. We are excited to show you our fact files when they are finished! The children have worked really hard on their handwriting and their hard work has paid off. Mrs Chesters was really impressed with everyone's handwriting when she came to visit our classroom this week. In the afternoons, we have been using the ipads to film our interviews. The children took turns to be the 'interviewers' and then the 'owl experts'. The children were very knowledgeable 'owl experts' and the interviewers had lots of good questions to ask! it was lots of fun to film and to watch.
We have had lots of fun today for the 'NSPCC's Number Day' taking part in our TT Rock Stars-athon with our class experts, Amelia, Sam and Esme who are in the lead at the moment in our class. Keep up the fantastic work Year 2.
Have a lovely weekend.
