We hope you enjoy this new collection of reimagined images and verses from Julia Donaldson and Axel...
Year 2 News
Thank you to everyone who has sent back their homework about where their families have come from. We have really enjoyed sharing them in class.
We have been writing poems this week, and have written our own poems titled '10 things found in a Roman Soldiers pocket'.
In Numeracy we have been learning about fractions and using our new division skills to find fractions of numbers.
We have also been looking at the effect the Romans had on place names in Britain — we discovered that places with cester, caster and chester in them mean that there was once a fort there.
In KiVa today we looked at right and wrong choices and how we can choose between them.
I hope that you all have a lovely holiday and come back to school rested and ready for action on Monday 23rd February.
