Another busy week has come and gone.
We have been looking at numbers greater than 100, ordering them and looking at what each digit means in a three digit number. We have also used this knowledge to complete number sentences such as 100+20+3 = 123 where we don't have to add each part we can pretend that we have place value cards and overlap the numbers.
In Literacy we have finished our poems and did really well with such a hard thing to do. We have also been writing a report about finding the tomb of Sennapod, the pharaoh from our book. Today we have been writing instructions about how to make a cushion based on our experiences of making cushions.
In Science we have been thinking about how to keep healthy and why it is important.
We have also learnt about the canopic jars that the Egyptians used to put their organs in when they were mummified.
Next week we will be practising for Sports Day so please make sure that your kit is in school everyday.
