What a busy week! We have been busy practising for our Christmas Service next week. The children have done a great job learning their lines and the songs and I'm sure that the service will be fantastic.
We have been learning about limericks, their patterns and rhymes. We read some famous ones and then tried to write our own ones. I really enjoyed reading them.
In Numeracy we have been counting on and back in 10s, 20s, 30s and 40s. We have been learning to record these on a number line.
In Science this week we had a cork, a marble, a sweet, a helicopter and a piece of Velcro and a pom pom and we were looking at how these items were like seeds. We talked about how seeds spread from their parent plants and began to think about what they need to grow.
There will be My Maths homework tonight.
We look forward to seeing you at the Christmas Service next week.
Enjoy the weekend.
