Happy New Year and welcome back to our new term.

Our classroom has been transformed with a giant circus tent to inspire us with our new topic Let the magic begin... We had an exciting start this week as we used the clues on the front cover of our new story like a jigsaw and the final piece revealed the title of the story. Leon and the Place Between. We know that Leon believes in magic and we are looking forward to going on a magical adventure.

On Tuesday we needed a ticket to enter our classroom to explore the circus setting using our senses. We covered our tickets with ideas for our writing. As the story is set at the circus we have explored fairground rides in DT and we are all thinking of exciting designs to make next week.

One thing that we are proud of is our work on arrays in Numeracy. We have even spotted arrays on lego, egg boxes and baking trays. 'In Numeracy we have learnt about arrays.' Sammy. 'Arrays have helped us to learn all about times and groups of. ' Victoria. When the year 6's asked us to share work in worship on Monday our class have chosen to show our work on arrays. It has been great to see how our learning has developed this week. Im sure you will have fun hunting for arrays this weekend.
