Thank goodness half term is here! We have all worked really hard this term and this week especially as we have completed our SATs 'quizzes'. Well done to everyone you have shown me your best work this week. If anyone has been absent this week the children will be catching up when they return to school after half term.
In Science we have been thinking about the things that our plants needed to grow and trying to work out if we needed the same things. We then discovered Mrs Gren who helped us to remember the characteristics of all living things — Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion, Nutrition. We then decided that we had to have nutrition and respiration in order to stay alive.
In RE we have been learning about the Holy Spirit with Mrs Taylor and remembering what the gifts of the Spirit are.
In Computing we have created a final PowerPoint about Egypt. We have learnt lots of new skills that we will be able to transfer to other programmes.
There is MyMaths homework about time to complete over the next two weeks.
Today we gave out our Learning Log homework — we are going to follow our own ideas about what we would like to know about Egypt and present it in our books. There is a letter inside the book, but if you would like any further information please ask.
Enjoy the holidays — see you TUESDAY 2nd June.
