Another lovely week in Year 2 has passed us by! On Wednesday we enjoyed our visit to the library. We met Hilary and Hilary who welcomed us to the library, told us where we could find different books and then it was our time to explore. We completed a detective quiz finding different characters from some of our favourite stories and then the best bit...we found a favourite story and got to take it home! We ended our visit with story time read by Hilary. Both Mrs Parker and I felt very proud to take you out due to your fantastic behaviour. You did Wybunbury Delves proud!

This week in English we have carried on our stories based on the story we have learnt called 'Nat Fantastic!' Can you retell the story to your parent?

In maths we have focused on number bonds using addition and subtraction. We then moved on to fact families with a focus on maths fluency.

In our RE lessons we have been looking at how we would welcome baby Jesus in to the world of he was born now. We then ordered and retold the Nativity story using Lego figures to help us remember the main parts. Can you work out the parts of the story from our pictures?!

In music, we have been using instruments to our new song Ho Ho Ho! Check out our pictures from last week!

Have a lovely weekend!
Miss McCurrie
