We have had another busy week.
In Literacy we have been looking at stories and creating story maps which we can use as plans to write our own stories.
In Numeracy we have been looking at adding 2-digit numbers and have used a hundred square and a number line to do this. We still need to practise our number facts to help us with our addition.
We have been looking at the type of houses that the Celts lived in, what these were made of and why this might be useful.
Mrs Pratt-Thompson helped the children to make a flower mosaic that we will be displaying in our classroom.
On Thursday we had a lovely afternoon with Year 1 and Year 5, planting beans and bulbs and tidying up our garden areas. Thank you to Mrs Charlesworth for organising our supplies for us.
We really enjoyed 'The Tiger who came to Tea'. Thank you to Mrs Rogers and Mrs Lawlor for arranging it for us. The children were a credit to you during the whole trip, they behaved well at the theatre and took our unscheduled stop in their stride.
We have some thank you letters to write next week!
Enjoy the weekend.
