This week in year 1, we have been learning to count in 2s. We have used lots of different things to help us count, including shoes and eyes! Children, can you show off your clever counting in 2s? You can also click here to play a game to help consolidate your learning.
In our English time, we have been using describing words to help write about the anaconda in our class story 'Class Two at the Zoo'. We then finished off our big art work and now have a large anaconda as part of our classroom. We also had some mysterious footprints in the classroom earlier in the week, which helped us to write our missing posters about Elmer. These are now all around the school with great pictures and writing. Well done year 1.
In the afternoons, we have been learning about farm animals. We then moved on to our learning about birds and what they like to eat ready for our design and technology work next week where we will be making bird feeders.
