Y6 Stockley Farm

Home » News » Y6 Stockley Farm

Year 6 thoroughly enjoyed their day at Stockley Farm today. After winning the Arley Hall garden competition in Year 5, their prize was a class visit to Arley Hall's Stockley Farm. We used the opportunity to revise some of the science curriculum whilst having fun at the farm. We rode in a trailer, bottle fed baby goats and saw lots of different animals that we were able to stroke — the baby goats and calves were a definite hit! There may be a few requests for pet goats, calves, piglets, polecats or ducks at home this evening! After all the hard work preparing for SATS, it was a lovely day out.
A huge thank you to Stockley Farm for a great day.
