Y6 News
A great week in Y6.
In Maths this week, we have continued to investigate different methods of addition and subtraction using reasoning. We will now move on to multiplication and division.
In English this week we have begun to think about our opening paragraphs for our persuasive write. We have thought about our audience and how to persuade the islanders of Wing to leave their drowning island. We will continue to develop our reports next week.
This week In Book Club we have read two pieces of text focusing on synonyms and antonyms.
We have continued with our Science unit this week looking at inheritance and evolution. We have completed our personal code cards and looked at different traits of dogs.
Coding continues to be our focus in computing.
Our Global Warming Chandelier is now hanging in our classroom, we are very proud.
Thank you for supporting our Harvest Service, we hope you enjoyed our worship.
In our Y6 worship today, we were reminded of the Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child. More information on this will follow shortly.
Have a fantastic weekend.
