Another busy week in Year 6 as we are on final revision in readiness the forthcoming SATS tests.
In reading we have been unpicking poetry, writing we have focused on biography. We have written a biography of a friend. In maths we have concentrated on geometry and shape.
We have begun reading our new class story — Wonder by RJ Palacio. Our focus for our final term will be British Values, Britain, who we are and what we value.
This week we have reminded ourselves of the British vales: democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those of different faiths and beliefs.
On Friday our dressing up for St. George's day reminded us to have the courage to stand up for our own values, like George stood up to the dragon.
My Maths and spag.com homework have been set.
Have a lovely weekend.
