Our Year 5 news this week is brought to you by Ella.

This week we did a biscuit experiment in Maths, we dunked biscuits and measured the amount that had fallen off. After the experiment we were able to eat the biscuits and drink the tea.
In Literacy we have worked on brackets and how to lay out information text. We are busy finishing off our Ancient Greek presentations and will be presenting them to our class next week. Some of us have done power points and others have done speeches, quizzes and drama.
PC Nick came in today during our PSHE lesson to talk to us about Halloween and staying safe around bonfires. He talked about protecting our safety and other people's property.
In Science this week we did a rubbing test with rocks, we tested to find out which rocks were the most durable. I found out that marble is the most durable and sandstone the least as it crumbled very fast.
This week in Year 5 has been spectacularly fun......
