Y4 Y5 Y6 Harvest Service

Year 4, 5 and 6 would like to invite their parents, carers and grandparents to join us at church to celebrate Harvest. The service will take place at church on Tuesday 29th September at 1.30pm. If any adults are available to walk with us from school it would be much appreciated, please meet in the conservatory at 1.05pm.
We will be making a collection for the Trussell Trust Food Bank in Nantwich. Every day people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. Trussell Trust foodbanks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK. Last year the network fed over 900,000 people.

Their shopping list includes: Milk (UHT or powdered), Sugar (500g), Long life fruit juice, Tins of Soup, Pasta sauces, Sponge pudding (tin), Tinned Tomatoes, Breakfast cereals, Tinned Rice pudding, Tea Bags, Jar of instant coffee, Instant mash potato, 500gms Rice, 500gms Pasta, Tinned meat/fish, Tinned fruit, Jar of Jam, Packets of biscuits, Snacks. All donations need to be in date and undamaged or the food bank will be unable to accept them.
