Happy New Year, year one! This is not the way we wanted to start our new year but everyone has...
Y3 update
First of all, I'd like to wish you all a very happy Easter break and say well done to all the children for their hard work this term.
This week, we have completed study work books and enjoyed sharing our Lenten service at church.
We also enjoyed Key Stage One's Lenten service this morning. It was a beautiful message and was very clearly shared. In fact, some of the year 3 children were visibly moved by the service which was very touching indeed. It was a lovely way to end the term.
Well done to all the year 3 children who took part in the 'decorate an egg' competition today. We were thrilled to hear that Luke's egg earned him a place on the winners' podium. Well done Luke. We hope you enjoy your Easter egg prize!
Many of the children have been asking 'What is our new topic? What will our new book be?' It is great to hear that they already want to know where our learning journey will take us next. I'm afraid I've kept this a secret but I can tell you that our next book is very child-friendly and somewhat magical. I can't wait to share it with the class.
Once again, Happy Easter to you all. I hope you have lots of family time together and I look forward to beginning our new learning adventure after the holidays.
