Miss Lake would just like to send out a HUGE well done to Year 3 for their hard work over the last two days completing their design and technology project to build a range of Native American Indian homes. What a fantastic job they have done!

During their work, they met all of their objectives to:
work collaboratively;
learn techniques for cutting using hand saws;
learn techniques for joining materials;
select appropriate materials;
finish designs to a high standard;
evaluate their own and others' structures and suggest ways they could be improved, and
build a Native American Indian home.

They also:
worked safely,
shared ideas and resources,
worked independently and industriously,
persevered when they faced a 'stuck challenge' and
maintained their own work spaces.

They should be very proud of their endeavours over the last two days. Well done everyone.

Photos will follow in Friday's update and, if they have not yet had chance to share their work, please do pop into class over the next couple of days so that they can do so.
