Y3 Blue Planet Trip

Home » News » Y3 Blue Planet Trip

Today, the sun came out and year 3 headed off on their Blue Planet adventure!

We explored coral caves, a flooded forest and rock pools, travelled through an underwater tunnel and learned a HUGE amount about our amazing oceans and the creatures in them. We had a classroom lesson all about life on land and sea and got close to a tarantula, cockroaches and beautiful frogs! We even got to touch a starfish. We saw sharks, eels, geckos, crabs, blue poison dart frogs, seahorses, an abundance of beautiful fish and so much more. We watched rays being fed and sharks swim over our heads. We will use everything we saw and learned next week when we write Michael's log book extracts. Now we will be able to write from first hand experience!

It was an amazing adventure and the children were a credit to parents and our school.

What a lovely day we had.

I hope you all have dreams of incredible undersea adventures this weekend and a well earned rest.
