Well done everyone! We have made it to the end of this half term of home learning!!This week in PE...
Welcome back Reception.
Welcome back to a new year and a new Topic: Dinosaurs.
It was lovely to see so many smiling faces eager to be back at school and ready for learning.
Rooooaaaaarrrr!!
We love our new book "Dear Dinosaur" by Chae Strathie. It may have been a short week but we have packed in a lot of learning.
We have discovered that dinosaurs are no longer living but died a long time ago, about 65.999.994 years ago, according to T.Rex !
We have looked at models and images of dinosaur skeletons and have created our own dinosaur fossils. They look amazing.
In our writing today we have been writing dinosaur facts. Did you know a T. Rex's tooth is as long as a ruler? Or that a T.Rex 's body is longer than a bus? We do!
Our favourite activity has been to recycle boxes into a giant dinosaur. We had to flesh him out a little with some newspaper muscles and then we painted him. We think we've done a good job as everyone keeps saying 'wow' as they walk past our class. We've called him Boxosaurus!
Have a lovely weekend
Kind regards
Mrs Taylor
