We Remember - Preschool

Home » News » Untitled article

Today we all dressed in red and thought about why we wear a poppy.

We have certainly been listening well this week as we remembered that it was to remember the soldiers and the brave men and women. We watched a beautiful animation on cbeebies called' poppies' and listened to the story 'where the poppies now grow'. We were inspired by the pictures in our story of the poppies growing in the fields and created our own field poppy picture using tissue paper and painted poppy pictures.

We joined with the rest of school for a two minute silence at 11.00. The children stood beautifully and were quiet for the whole two minutes!

Always remember never forget preschool.
