A visit from a vet - preschool

Home » News » A visit from a vet - preschool

Thank you to Tom who visited us today to talk to us about his role as a vet, he even fetched a very special visitor Leonard the dog!

We found out that a vet helps to look after our pets if they feel poorly. We were taught how to look after our pets; we must feed them, give them water, walk them, and protect them from things such as fleas. Leonard the dog felt a little bit poorly, so we used our senses to check him over. Our eyes to look at him, our hands to feel him, our ears to listen to the heartbeat and our nose to check for any different smells. We worked out he had a poorly leg so Kallum helped to bandage his leg — great work Kallum.

We fetched in our poorly animals from home and Tom looked at a few of them for us — thank you! We all have a goody bag to go home with too!

Thank you Tom, we loved having you visit today,
from us all at preschool
