This Week In Year 4

Home » News » This Week In Year 4

Our second full week in Year 4 has come to a close! It has been a busy week and we have learnt lots. In Literacy we have been looking at instructions and have learnt about bossy verbs and time openers. We have also learnt about pronouns! Can you remember what a pronoun is?

In Numeracy, we have been looking at adding two 2 digit numbers together. We have learnt a new method, called the Splits but we have also realised that it's always handy to use our number bonds as this allows us to pick the quickest method. So if you need to practice your number bonds, get practicing.

In our afternoons, we have had an exciting week because we had our first brass instrument lesson. Hopefully next lesson, we'll be able to take them home.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Pennance
