Y6 you are just superstars. There are no other words to describe how I feel about you all in these...
The start of science week - preschool
We have started our week learning about forces. We learnt that any kind of force is really just a push or a pull. We have focused on 'push'. We learnt that pushing moves something in the direction of the push. The harder the push, the further the item goes.
We experimented by pushing cars down different ramps. We then experimented with blowing. We used straws to blow and push pom poms. The harder we blew the further they went! The teddies and butterfly group tried this also using straws to blow paint across paper.
Whilst outside playing with the rackets and balls Max said "I've used a force" as he hit the ball very hard — wow!
Lastly, I was very impressed with the team work today as some our boys worked together to set up the snack table — thank you!
I look forward to more learning tomorrow preschool,
Tara
