St. George's Day Dress Up

Home » News » St. George's Day Dress Up

This Friday, 22nd April, we will be celebrating St. George's Day, just like we did last year, by dressing up as a knight, a princess or a dragon if you wish to. The kitchen have organised a special St. George's day lunch, details have been sent home by letter, usual costs apply.
As part of our work in preparing our children for life in modern Britain, we will link our celebration of St. Georges' day to the FOUR BRITISH VALUES of Democracy, Rule of Law, Freedom (liberty) and Respect for other faiths and cultures. The story of St. George reminds us to have the courage to stand up for our own values, like George stood up to the dragon.
