Wow what a busy but fantastic final week we have had before our Easter holidays. I am so proud of...
Shrove Tuesday - Preschool
We have celebrated 'pancake day'. To start our day we learnt our pancake song. Then we thought about our favourite toppings, which we drew and wrote about. A lot of the children's favourite were chocolate and ice cream.
Kimmy then made pancakes with the children and they learnt what ingredients we needed and had a go at whisking the mixture. Then they tasted pancakes with lemon and sugar, most of the children loved them.
We had a pancake flipping competition and Hannah won, she managed to flip her pancakes 26 times — wow!
I got my pancake the highest and managed to reach the ceiling in preschool! I hope none of your pancakes get stuck on the ceiling tonight!
We finished our day with a pancake race.
Another fun-filled day has been had by preschool today.
