What an exciting week we have had!
We have written letters to T Rex like the character Max in Dear Dinosaur, telling him all about ourselves and would you believe it, he replied!
He was very interested in our dinosaur puppets with moving body parts that we have made this week. He asked if we could write him a set of instructions, so he may have a go too.
So, this is what we wrote:
First draw and then paint your dinosaur.
Next cut out the body parts.
Then make holes to fix the parts together.
Finally push a split pin in the holes to make it move.

In number work we have been revisiting 2D shapes and explored some new ones, pentagons, hexagons, heptagons, octagons, nonagons and decagons, counting how many sides they have to remember their names. We have used them to create pictures of our favourite dinosaurs.

Have a lovely weekend
Mrs Taylor
