This week in Literacy we had to help Domino's solve a dilemma! Their oven was broken and we had to think about who we could ask to help them fix it. We wrote letters asking for electricians to quickly fix the oven as it was burning all of the pizzas. We then thought about other people who help us in the community such as police officers and fire fighters. To end our week we wrote about what we would like to do when we grow up. Louis told us all about how he wants to be a racing driver, just like Lewis Hamilton, fingers crossed for him over the weekend in Austria!

In Numeracy this week, we have covered the concept of sharing. During the week, we have done some very exciting practical activities. These have included, interactive games on the computer, Fish tank sharing and using play dough to help us work out some tricky problems. I am really pleased with how well all the children have grasped this tricky concept, well done!

What a fantastic time we have had practising for our sports day. Each house colour team have worked very hard to practise our races. We are in for a treat next week as long as the weather is fine for us!

Have a lovely weekend.

Miss Addis, Miss Wood and Miss Silvester
