Reception - our last full week

Home » News » Reception - our last full week

This week we have been busy learning about recycling. We had a letter from Percy, he has been too busy working in the garden to tidy his shed and there was a lot of rubbish in there! We learnt that we can reuse things, recycle and compost. We also looked at what happens when things are recycled and found out that you can wear a plastic bottle!! (They can be turned into fleece). We have made pictures out of rubbish which we hope to display around school (recycling the base boards from the igloo in the process)
In phonics we have been continuing to use the sounds we already know to build longer words.
In numeracy we have been using the skills that we have learnt this year in a variety of games.
Keep safe in the sun this weekend, see you on Monday for our last few days.
