Well... Santa had to learn some new skills this year. He and his elves magically sent each class a...
Reception News
It has been a very busy week in reception.
The children in reception and pre school took part in two performances of our Nativity, 'This is the Star' by Joyce Dunbar. One for the rest of the school and another for parents and families. They were absolutely fantastic in both! They brought a tear to the eye of several teachers, so I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye in the house during the afternoon performance!
As well as the Nativity, the children have completed their family trees, during R.E. and art, with Mrs Taylor who has also created a lovely display in our corridor.
Following the wonderful letters the children wrote in literacy, Santa has now replied and letters went home in book bags on Friday.
We hope you have enjoyed playing phonics bingo, on http://www.ictgames.com/, with your child. As well as the bingo, we have also played DJ spelling cow, a wordsearch with a twist, dinosaur eggs and tell a T-Rex!
Have a lovely weekend and see you on Monday!
