This week we have learnt more about dinosaurs. William H helped us to understand what herbivore and carnivore are when we describe what a dinosaur likes to eat. We have enjoyed finding out about a triceratops and Mrs Taylor has worked with children to create a large triceratops sculpture. I can't wait to see how the sculpture will look when it is painted.

In Literacy we have been writing our dinosaur facts and deciding where we need to use full stops. We have done a also wonderful job within our cursive writing practise. We reflected on our skills and thought about the letters we write well and the ones we would like to get better at.

In Numeracy we have visited Dinosaur Land and we have been reviewing what we know about adding and how to create add number sentences. Some of the workers in Dinosaur Land didn't check their number sentences so we had the job to check how many dinosaurs there were altogether. We then thought about how we could check our answers by using numicon and drawing pictures.

During our technology activity we decided if it is easier to paint a picture on the computer or with paints, brushes and paper. We used a paint program to draw a dinosaur of our own.
