Reach to the sky Y6

Home » News » Reach to the sky Y6

A great end to a very focused term. Well done Y6.

We have had a busy week from practising our Easter Service to reviewing our reading papers. We have also converted measurements and completed our stories written from an advert stimulus.

Spag homework has been checked today and I have kept all books in school. This will help with our daily spelling lessons as only these pages are left to complete. New homework has been set with the main focus being placed upon SAT Buster books. There is one new Spag.com online piece also to complete.

Our trip to Catalyst Science was a great success. We were able to reach for the sky using the glass lift up to the observatory and had plenty of hands on activities to complete around the museum. Our forensic tests were completed with care and it was lovely to hear the leader say that our school had been the first one to guess if a crime had been committed correctly. Well done Y6. Thank you for being so understanding about our late return.

Today I have told the children about our leavers outing. They are all extremely excited as PGL was such a success, and a day out experiencing similar activities is right up their street. They are coming home today with all the relevant paperwork already printed out. Thank you for organising such a treat.

Thank you also for supporting our Easter Service today; it is always such a lovely way to end our term.

I would just like to wish you all a very happy Easter and thank you for all your good wishes.

Mrs B.
