Wider Opportunities Music Continuation Tuition — Introducing the Play it Again Scheme
for Year 4 children

Year 4 are now coming to the end of their Wider Opportunities year, we hope they have enjoyed the positive experience that comes from learning to play a musical instrument. We have thoroughly enjoyed listening to their termly concerts and seeing the amazing progress they have all made.

The Cheshire East Music Hub, Love Music Trust, are able to offer a subsidy to enable pupils to continue with instrumental lessons after they have taken part in a whole class Wider Opportunities programme.

This subsidy is funded from the Department for Education and the Arts Council England. At Wybunbury Delves we have teamed up with Music for Life to offer instrumental tuition from September for those children in the current Year 4 who would like to continue to learn a musical instrument. Music for Life have provided instrumental tuition at Wybunbury for many years. Your child has brought home a letter from them outlining what they are offering and the cost involved. The lessons do not have to be on the instrument they are currently learning, they could use the musical knowledge gained through Wider Opps and apply it to a new instrument. Lessons will be in small groups and Music for Life can offer instrument hire.

If you require any further information about the Play it Again Scheme please use the contact details on the Music for Life letter or contact me and I will endeavour to find out the answer.

Thank you for your support during this year for the Wider Opportunities programme. The children should be proud of all they have achieved in such a short space of time.
Kind regards

Mrs Chesters
