Our Week Preschool
Welcome back preschool!
What a busy first week we have had. Firstly it has been lovely to share all your holiday news and hear about how you have been getting on with your home link.
Our week has been inspired by The Three Little Pigs story. You have become your own builders using lots of different materials to build and create being careful that it is safe from the big bad wolf!
We looked at the letter wolf began with 'w' and learnt what sound it makes, we then thought about other words that began with a 'w' sound.
Solomon thought of "Walter and wiggle"
Freya thought of "William"
Emily thought of "wiggly worm"
Alex thought of "wind and Wednesday"
Bonfire fun took place this week we enjoyed many activities and explored colour. Each key person group talked about how to keep safe on bonfire night and created a poster for you all to see in the cloakroom.
Today we have begun to think about why we wear a poppy? We learnt that brave men and women fought to keep us safe and we wear a poppy to remember them. We have also learnt a song which we are hoping to perform next week to the rest of the school.
Remember to wear red Wednesday 11th November as we prepare to remember.
Have a lovely weekend and enjoy any bonfire celebrations.
