This week in Year 4, we have been very busy...

In our English lessons, we have looked at what makes a great advertisement, with a main focus of slogans. We have spent the week identifying the key features of slogans and even had a go at writing our own. We have come up with some fantastic ones for our fireworks.

In our maths lessons this week, we have being looking at place value. We have compared numbers, used our column method to add and subtract and we even had a go at some worded problems.

In geography, we made our own human globe and used string to represent latitude and longitude and discovered how useful they are!

In history, we have stated to look at key dates in The Shang Dynasty. We have organised the key dates into a timeline and we're starting to discover the mystery that is Ancient China.

Within art this week, we have looked at willow patterns and had a play with creating own willow pattern.

We have also now completed our study work covers and they look fab!

Overall, a great week in Year 4.
