Wow what a busy but fantastic final week we have had before our Easter holidays. I am so proud of...
Our Week In Year 4
The classroom has been full of active learners and busy brains this week!
In Literacy we became dragons in a drama lesson. Some of us were Toothless whereas others had to be Fireworm. It was great fun and we loved being able to work out side. The drama session, along with the other Literacy lessons this week, have been preparing us for the character description we are going to be writing next week.
In Numeracy, we have learnt a new written method for addition called the Expanded Method; we also learnt about carrying numbers over into the next column. Each lesson required our brains to be very busy and working hard! All the hard work paid off because we can all now do the Expanded Method. Don't forget, there is Numeracy Homework on MyMaths this week. If you need the school log in, it has been sent round in an email to parents.
Finally, on Monday, the classroom was filled with wonderful dragons as our first learning log homework was due it. They were all absolutely fantastic! Thank you for all your hard work.
